Wellington Racing Club Member Reciprocal Rights and Privileges
As a Member of the Wellington Racing Club you are entitled to Reciprocal Rights with a large number of major racing clubs in New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
It is important when visiting a reciprocal Club that you have your Membership Cards or a Letter of Introduction from the Wellington Racing Club. A letter can be produced by contacting [email protected] or call on 04 528 9611.
Unless stated the gate charge at all meetings must be paid where applicable. Members without season guest privileges at Trentham may be restricted to one Members’ ticket at other Clubs.
While every effort is made to ensure these Reciprocal Rights are correct, individual Clubs may vary benefits provided from time to time. We would appreciate any feedback as to your experience at other clubs.
Note that these reciprocal rights are also available to other RACE inc "Premier" , ""Full" and "Young" level memberships.

Awapuni Racing Centre
A WRC Member is entitled to racecourse entry and two Members’ tickets for all racedays at Awapuni, including Levin Racing Club and Masterton Racing Club meetings at this venue. Additional tickets may be available by contacting WRC prior to raceday.
Premier Membership,
of any RACE Inc Clubs are entilted to full reciprocal benefits including complimentary admission to Awapuni and Trentham Racecourses and use of Members facilities for all racedays, including Wellington Cup Day.
Full Membership,
may be restricted at some events including complimentary admission to Awapuni and Trentham Racecourses and use of Members facilities for all racedays, excluding Wellington Cup Day
Young Membership,
of any RACE Inc Clubs are entilted to full reciprocal benefits including complimentary admission to Awapuni and Trentham Racecourses and use of Members facilities for all racedays, including Wellington Cup Day.
Auckland Racing Club
Auckland Thoroughbred Racing Inc. are pleased to offer reciprocal rights to Wellington Racing Club for both venues - Ellerslie and Pukekohe Park, throughout the 2021/22 season.
On all Ellerslie and Pukekohe Park racedays (excluding the six premier days listed below) we are pleased to offer WRC members complimentary Members Stand tickets (the gate charge will need to be paid if one applies), upon presentation of their membership card in the raceday office on the day.
The six premier days are:
Counties Cup Day – Saturday 20 November 2021 (Pukekohe Park)
Boxing Day – Sunday 26 December 2021 (Ellerslie)
New Year’s Day – Saturday 1 January 2022 (Ellerslie)
Karaka Million – Saturday 22 January 2022 (Ellerslie)
Derby Day – Saturday 5 March 2022 (Ellerslie)
Auckland Cup Day – Saturday 12 March (Ellerslie)
On Counties Cup Day at Pukekohe Park your members will have access to the third floor of the grandstand.
For the five premier days at Ellerslie, the Reciprocal Members Stand Ticket Application Form needs to be completed, entitling you to enjoy the comfort of our Ascot (Members’) Stand at a discounted rate.
Counties Racing Club
A WRC Member is entitled to request Members’ tickets for all Counties Racing Club meetings as required (reasonable limits apply).
Waikato Racing Club
A WRC Member will be provided complimentary tickets to the Kentucky (Members) Lounge on presentation of their current WRC membership. Gate admission charges (if any) must be paid.
Hawke’s Bay Racing Inc.
A WRC Member is entitled up to two Members’ tickets for any HBRI meeting by presenting their Membership Cards, or a letter from the WRC, at the Raceday Office.
Canterbury Jockey Club
A WRC Member is entitled up to two Members’ tickets for any CJC meeting by presenting their Membership Cards, or a WRC letter, at the Raceday Office.

Australian Turf Club
(Formerly the Australian Jockey Club and Sydney Turf Club)
Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, Canterbury Park, Warwick Farm
ATC are pleased to extend the following reciprocal privileges to Members of the Wellington Racing Club visiting any of our racecourses from August2019 – July 2020.
1. On Selected Feature Racedays Members are required to purchase course admission (either online or at the racecourse) and, upon presentation of their current Members card at the Raceday Office on the day, are entitled to a complimentary Members’ Reserve ticket. Wellington Racing Club Members can also purchase up to one Members’ Guest ticket for a guest at the normal Members price.
2. On Standard Saturdays, Mid Weeks, Nights and Public Holidays, Members are required to purchase course admission (either online or at the racecourse) and, upon presentation of their current Members card at the Raceday Office on the day, are entitled to receive a complimentary Members’ Reserve ticket. Members can also purchase up to three Members' Guest tickets for guests at the normal Members price.
Please be advised that these privileges are extended to current, financial Members of your Club. Guest cards are not accepted. Available race days are subject to change, without notice.
Please present on the day with your Wellington Race Club membership card/badge and PHOTO ID
These privileges are offered in the spirit of reciprocity and apply to visiting members from NZ not resident in Australia.

Victoria Racing Club
On all days apart from Melbourne Cup Carnival, A WRC Member is entitled to two Members Stand tickets after paying any applicable gate charges. Please proceed to the Raceday Office following entry to show proof of Membership. A full list of the race days and rights can be found HERE
For the Melbourne Cup Carnival, the Victoria Racing Club extend an invitation to WRC Members to purchase Members’ Enclosure Ticketing for the Carnival.

Note that the closing date for postal applications is Friday 11th October 2019 as noted on the application. While VRC will continue to sell tickets after this date, they will need to be collected prior to raceday or purchased directly over the counter.

Melbourne Racing Club
A WRC Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ ticket on all days at Caulfield & Sandown (including Caulfield Cup Day). Members’ also have the opportunity to purchase one guest pass as well.
Moonee Valley Racing Club (Melbourne)
A WRC Member has the opportunity to purchase two Members’ tickets for all days at Moonee Valley (including Cox Plate Day). On non-major days some complimentary tickets will be available. On all days the gate charge must be paid where applicable. Should you wish to know rights in advance, please contact the WRC prior to travel.
We have been advised that once again this year the MVRC will be offering Full Reciprocal Rights privileges and to advise WRC Members that they are offering a promotion with their Memberships for International Racing Club Members wanting to come to the Cox Plate. Brisbane Racing Club
A WRC Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ tickets on all race days at Eagle Farm and Doomben. WRC Members must show ID and their WRC Members Card or Letter of Introduction from the Club. On all days the gate charge must be paid where applicable.
For the 2019 Brisbane Racing Carnival (May and June), the Brisbane Racing Club extends an invitation for WRC Members to purchase Reciprocal Members Reserve tickets and one additional guest ticket.
WRC Members must return the Reciprocal Member Application Form for the Carnival at least 1 week prior to the day they wish to attend.
Cairns Jockey Club
WRC Members are entitled to receive members privileges at CJC following paying gate entry except on the following Carnivals due to capacity restraints.

Gold Coast Turf Club
A WRC Member is entitled to two complimentary Members’ tickets for non feature and semi-feature days. On major racedays the badge holder may purchase up to two tickets.
Werribee Racing Club
The Werribee Racing Club offer the Wellington Racing Club Members Reciprocal Rights to all of their race meetings including Werribee Cup Day in November. These rights allow WRC Members free entry into the racecourse on all days including access to the Member’s Dining Room (excluding Cup Day & Christmas Day).
West Australian Turf Club
A WRC Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ ticket and the opportunity to purchase one additional guest ticket for all days at Ascot & Belmont Park.
Other International Racing Clubs
Hong Kong Jockey Club
A WRC Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ ticket and the opportunity to purchase an additional guest pass for all race meetings at Happy Valley & Sha Tin (including the HKJC International Race Meeting).
Singapore Turf Club
A WRC Member is asked to make prior arrangements for complimentary tickets before visiting Singapore Racecourse and all requests must be accompanied by a letter of introduction from the WRC. Complimentary tickets are available to a Member and their guest except for major race-meetings.
