Key strategic changes across the two equine codes headline the 2024-25 New Zealand racing calendar released today.

Trackside has returned to free-to-air television as part of a refreshed offering for New Zealand racing fans.

Recent developments in the New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing Industry have been extremely positive, with Entain’s agreement with the TAB seeing a 29% increase in prizemoney and a 13% increase in Racing Club funding effective from 1 August.

This will be a very different 2022 NZCIS Wellington Cup event on Saturday 29 January.
